About the Seven Pipers Scottish Society  

We are dedicated to the preservation, performance, and the enjoyment of
Scottish music and dance. 

Bagpipe and Drum Bands. Practice for the competition band is held on Monday evenings at St. Philip’s in the Foothills Church 6::30 - 8:30 p.m. Preparatory Pipe Band meets on Tuesday nights at Northminster Presbyterian Church 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Private instruction on pipes or drums is also available. Highland Dance. Dance lessons given Saturday mornings. Private lessons are also available. Call 762-4276 for more information. Or e-mail hd@sevenpipers.org 

 

Country Dance. The traditional social dancing of Scotland is taught each Thursday at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $12.00 per month and classes are held at the First United Methodist Church, 915 E. Fourth.  A partner is not necessary. Call 887-0875 for shoe requirements and to register.

 

Vocalists and Ceilidh Band. Vocalists and instrumentalists meet on Tuesday evenings to learn and practice traditional Celtic music. For information, call 744-2635 or 574-8039.
